Iberia Airlines has a program called "Hola Madrid” , which is a stop-over program that allows you to stay between 1-6 nights in Madrid, Spain which is their headquarters for no additional cost. The only requirement is choosing a flight that has Madrid as a connection and you must book directly with them.

Oddly enough, Non-stop flights from BOS are on sale for $438, or you can choose their flight that has a connection that is currently $542. We imagine the reason the flight with a connection is more, is due to the popularity of this program which causes more people to choose it than what would be normal so that they can explore two very different regions of Spain all for the cost of 1 destination.
