Air Portugal's Stopover Program
Allows you to add a free stopover in Lisbon from 1 to 10 days. (Must book direct) All of TAP's flights connect in Lisbon and to make their airline more attractive than others, they allow you (IF YOU WANT) to get off in Portugal for 1 to 10 days, and see 2 nations for the flight cost of 1.

This is optional and you can just connect directly on to your final destination if you do not wish to use this free stop over program. But make a mental not when searching for airfare, that if its ever TAP you choose to fly into Europe, you can always see Portugal for free (+ lodging expense)

There is also a good deal on Air Canada for Lauderdale departures but there is no free stop over in Portugal, that's only with (TAP).
